Well this answers my question..

The Department of Public Safety and Corrections now honors other states valid concealed handgun permits in Louisiana, when the other state honors a valid Louisiana concealed handgun permit in their state. Each state should provide Louisiana with written documentation of their intentions pursuant to L.R.S. 40:1379.3 (T)(1) as enacted by ACT 470 of the 2004 Louisiana Regular Session.
Permit holders are reminded that while carrying a valid concealed handgun in another state, they are bound by that state's law governing concealed handguns.
