Here's a holster I finished last fall for the Lemat and a bowie I got from Henk Neervort of the Netherlands.

Both the holster and knife (and the gun) are breathtaking. One of the nicest combos I've yet to see, GOOD work ! !

A classy holster and a classic looking knife. Good work on the holster.

Super nice! Very impressive. Do you have a pic of the LeMat unholstered?

I like the tooling on the holster. Made a few knives and sheaths but never learned to tool like that. Very nice piece.

    What leather dye is that?

Thanks! That one has a new border stamp by Robert Beard and I think it was my first rosette on a finished piece. I don't even remember what color I used. It might have been a weird combination of colors because I don't care for the way it turned out. It was just something I cranked out quick to be able to carry the Lemat last season.

Interesting that you're not keen on the color. I think it looks great - really rich looking.

When I made sheaths I was in California. The oil based leather dies are illegal there. So I tried a water bases product and then gave up and just conditioned the leather after that.

The Tandy professional water stain is actually very good. Works much better than the water-based powder dyes.

Wow, that really is beautiful work. I love the gun, too, especially the grips. Very nice and everything goes together well.

    Fantastic work!

I would be interested to see the back of the holster. Is the belt loop one piece with the rest of the holster, and is it designed for cross draw?

That knife, especially when sheathed, has a positively viking look to it.

That holster is simply amazing as is the coffin-handle bowie and sheath. I check your posts daily to get my morning dose of jealous.

Don't have any pics of the back side. It is a crossdraw and the belt loop is stitched on.
