Real simple, post pictures if possible, and a brief explanation of what’s going on. Let’s celebrate not just the things that WE enjoy, but the time we spend with our families enjoying this sport. Doesn’t matter if it’s hunting, shooting, smithing, or something else on topic. Let’s see those kiddos, spouses, parents, and everybody else.

my 8yr old tagged along on Sunday evening for an afternoon hunt. It was her first time hunting. She is begging to go back. I hope to get the 10 yr old out for her first time this coming weekend.

Very cool, Op. Makes me wish my phone with all my pics didn't randomly decide to never turn on again.

I got this taken on my new phone fixing up boards on some deer stands. Kind of a family member.View attachment 959533But much more reliable...
Big reds are awesome machines. There’s a 250r for sale or trade locally and I’m trying. I need to not be successful, but I’m trying.

......and my youngest plinking away with the AR9 she built.
That’s great! Looks like the whole fam is enjoying shooting. I gotta ask about the rifle on the left in the pic with the AR9. What is it? It has a marlin 60 look to the bolt but the stock is anything but.

The blonde's spare rifle looks like a Mossberg they tried to get into the late XX Century with.

Its a Mossberg Model 377 Plinkster- the ORIGINAL .22 Plinkster, circa 1977. Believe it or not, that is the factory stock. It is made of compressed foam covered in a faux wood veneer. Ive had this rifle since I was a kid, and it is still going strong after tens of thousands of rounds. It does require stout ammo (loves Stingers) and a good cleaning every couple hundred rounds to function properly, though.
In the one pic, the brass tube magazine is removed and sitting on top of the gun.

God, I love eggnog......but it doesnt love me.:barf::(

Got my wife out to her first handgun match last Saturday. She did great and only had to remote control parent some of the time. LOL.

A couple kids AND a redhead wife ?

Mercy me, you got your hands full.....

God, I love eggnog......but it doesnt love me.:barf:

I was thrown out of a motel one December many many years ago, because of eggnog.

I'm certain the vodka in the eggnog had nothing to do with the ruckus. Nope, it was the eggnog.

Mothers day 2018, out at the range behind the barn. Shooting from the 50-yard line, the marker pin is visible directly below and to the right of the muzzle.

Mrs. Thunkit with a 1930 Izzy Mosin 91-30. Shooting some of my cast bullet reduced loads, probably Universal powder going about 1400fps.

A view to the target - She was hitting the black circle with disturbing regularity...

The Mosin has since gone down the road, 12 pound trigger and all, but the Mrs ain't goin' anywhere.

Ahh the 3 wheeler that ended 3 wheelers. I hope to add one to the stable as well one day.

Still have the 250R purchased new in 1986, a buddy of mine keeps telling me I should sell it because they are popular and bring crazy prices. Have a couple 200x’s and a 70 as well the closest to big red I have is a little buggy I built and used the auto clutch, high/low big red engine in.

I have this one from a few weeks ago for the thread.

200x is a nice machine too. My best trike so far was a 185s that was give to me because the guys working on it couldn’t get spark and gave up. The plastics were all busted and such but it was a fun toy until I filled the crank case with water and it seized up. Sold it for scrap because there was nothing left worth salvaging. I have rode plenty 200x bikes and would get one in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.

^ Cause of the machines? You just have to add in how you use it for hunting :D. But yeah, maybe there could be a separate thread on that one day. Hunting machines. I started young repairing stands with a '44 Willys army jeep.

Derailment over... Great pics to everyone.
