I haven't seen a post with peoples 10/22's so I geuss I'll start this one. Hope everyone joins in. Sorry these photos don't do any justice.

Shots (for my dad under 1/2" @ 50 yds (age 61)) and for me slightly larger, closer to 3/4- 1" @50 yds (but you have to understand, I'm right handed and right eye dominant. I've had eye surgery which left me with poor central vision, so I've had to start shooting left handed.

This is just a run of the mill Wal*Mart special that I picked up about a month ago. I stripped the paint off of the receiver and trigger group, cleaned up the aluminum metal underneath, and the finished it off with a brushed look to match the barrel. It was a fair amount of work, but it turned out OK. I'll die a happy man if I never put another piece of 1500 grit sand paper to a piece of aluminum again....LOL.

My 10/22

Hello Peeps, I new here as of today, glad to be here. Thanks for letting me join.

Nice pictures there Tim13 ,
you did a real nice finish job there.

Here is a real quick picture of my 22.
It’s a ruger from wally world. Changed out the wood stock for a ramline folding stock and put a scope on it. Not sure on the type? scope that is. everything else is stock. Great for taking out those pack rats. I live in a rural area so I can shoot right off my back porch. Love it........
