Ok guys this is my first post but I couldnt find a thread like this on here so I figured I would make one.....

Let us know what you carry and let's try to get some pics up also, maybe one of your carry rig, one of it in your pocket and maybe one of just the gun....

Thanks Guys
Josh

I voted other because I have a S&W Model 60 .38 Spl. I carry it either in my right front pants pocket, or in the appendix position inside the waistband with an Uncle Mike's IWB holster. I carry this little revolver more than any other gun.

Here ya go...

I'm a die-hard right front pocket carrier and have carried a dozen different rigs over the years. Here is just a sample of a few of them:
top-to-bottom...
Smith mod 638 .38 spcl Bodyguard
Kel-Tec P32
NAA Mini .22 mag

On the rare, and I truly mean rare, instance when I carry in my pocket, I may bring along my Ortgies, or maybe my Glock 19. Truth be told though, I almost always carry in a holster, it is my preferred method of carry. I recently wrote about one reason why I carry in a holster here:

http://ballseyesboomers.blogspot.com/2007/10/carrying-firearms.html

and about how I select a holster here: http://ballseyesboomers.blogspot.com/2007/09/ballseyes-firearms-tactics-and-training.html

I did not mention pocket in a pocket holster, but I will say here I do not like the form of carry because of how long it takes to draw, and how inaccesible is the firearm if you are in certain positions. Pocket carry without a holster is even less preferable than with one because of the potential for forgotten foreign objects in the pocket to interfere or jam or plug up the firearm. I guess I am getting off on anothe rtopic, so enough for it.

All the best,
Glenn B

No pix but I but I've carryed in pocket lots of times. Mdl.37 S&W/bobbed hammer, Charter Undercover DAO, 605 Taurus, SP101 357 DAO, 617 DAO Taurus (back pocket gun kind of heavy) 905 Taurus DAO, Colt Agent/factory shroud, and my "Nose Gun" N.A.A 22 Mag.

Beretta 21A in .22LR. Recoil is seen, not felt. Weight loaded... about a pound, give or take an ounce or two. Easy to carry, easy to shoot.

Sometimes my Colt Mustang, other times, my S&W Model 649.

Not carried but rescued from a counter with some disreputable stable mates:

A gen-u-wine baby Browning but not the lightweight type. An uncommonly decent aftermarket plating and grip transplant makes it look close to the higher priced spread.
