Here are my double action revolvers. The snubs are big time working guns for me. Everybody loves pictures so I hope you enjoy. As you can see I do not descriminate between Smith or Ruger, Lock or No Lock. I love em' all. :D

Time to shoot, how do you choose?

Oh Yeah, nice set. That looks like a M65, 3 incher. Are those the Eagle boot grips? I think they call them Secret Service but I am may be wrong. I am still trying to find the ideal wooden grips for my 3 inch M65. The Monogrips fit me just right, but are a tad too long for this sort of concealish carry gun.

And what is the story on its barrel? I see an insert dovetailed in. That opens up a lot of options to getting just the right sight-picture.

I like the new S&W's-
520.JPG

The 520- a seven shot L frame. S&W calls this one the replacement for the great old model 19. I think it' an improvement. :neener:

The 386- a seven shot L frame that weighs 18oz and the great little 642. Both great guns with a terrible finish. :scrutiny:

:uhoh: BLASPHEMY!!! KILL THE HERITIC!!! :p ;)

Oh, and here's a shot of my handguns. As you can see, I'm a S&W fan (PRE-lock that is). Looking to add Colts to the collection too, just can't afford them yet.

Not the best pics, but you get the point.

Nice guns....but that pic got me wondering...why did they change the model 60 frame shape under the hammer? It looks fine but I really like the older style with the more shallow slope that lets you see the base of the hammer....maybe it's just like new cars...gotta get used to seeing the design a while before you start to like it...

I think they lengthened frame in order to accomodate the frame-mounted firing pin.

Also, here's a recent picture of most of my Smiths:

Pictured seperately is my new 10-9 "vault gun" made in 2003:

Thanks...I didn't know they went to a frame mounted pin...I don't want to start one of those famous internet debates over it like MIM parts or internal vs externbal extractors, but is ther any advatage to the frame mounted pin?

Only one I own. It ain't new, but it is fangled and it is definitely a double-action. I like it.
