My latest is a P&R S&W model 19-4, nickel finish, serial # series 71K8. This is nickel-plated, 4" bull barrel specimen in excellent condition.

Grips are Pachmayr Gripper. Original grips and original box put away for safe keeping.

My new addition for 2015 is the Ruger GP100. Love this revolver!

Nice looking gun. Could you tell me to what "P&R" refers? This is the second time I've seen this and cannot fathom its meaning from the context.

I intended P&R to be understood as Pinned and Recessed, i.e. a barrel mounting with a pin through it and a cylinder with recesses for the case rims to fit flush...both features lost in newer guns and prized by collectors.

So far this year a 5" SW 460V and a Ruger Single Six to get the wife shooting pistol.

That's a great start to the year. I don't foresee a gun purchase in my near future. A trade maybe. :)

I picked up a Model 69 on the 2nd.

Nice! If that's a range gun, I think you will do well to stay with those grips.
I do carry the GP100 in the car for CCH (I mounted a holster under the dash of my Armada). Actually, I laid the revolver on my floorboard (with a cleaning rag) and took that photo with my iPhone. :)

Is the M69 the new release from S&W? If so, how do you like it?
(Honestly, I cannot keep the nomenclature from S&W straight in my head...there are so many models and the naming convention is confusing.)

It's the L frame 44 magnum, released almost a year ago but it took a while to become available for my local shop to order. I like it a lot. I used to have a 629 Mountain Gun but sold it some time ago to fund this. I have smallish hands and the N frame wasn't the most comfortable for me. The M69 is just about perfect size for both my hands and for carry while hiking, hunting, etc. With 44 Special loads it's a ton of fun but if you load some full house magnums it will get your attention in a hurry. Not painful or anything, but it's a light gun and recoils a fair amount.

Mine is in the mail too. A S&W .38 special M&P from 1927. Can't wait for it to get here.

Just put money down on S&W M&P Sport AR. Local dealer running great deal on them ($549) , figured I couldn't pass on one at the price.

I'm a dummy, didn't see this was revolvers. None this year but I grabbed a blued Wiley Clapp GP100 toward the end of 2014 if that counts....

SP101 DAO. I had been wanting one of these forever.

I love this gun!

The price was so good that I couldn't resist. I won't have a chance to take it to the range for another eight days or so. It feels okay so far. (It's a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 special with shrouded hammer).

Made the mistake of stopping by my local pawn broker today. And there in the case was this nice reasonably priced Model 28-2 surrounded by a gaggle of Rugers. I just could let it lay there all by its little ol’ lonesome, so…….

Dates to 1977. Clean bluing, a tight lock up and a perfect bore in the six inch barrel. Practically no turn line on the cylinder. The only negatives are a prior owner used a vibrating pen to put his/her DL number on the butt and the magna stocks do not number to the gun.

They also had a LNIB model 360 in 38 Spl (I think that’s the one with the titanium cylinder) complete with box and papers for $399. But couldn’t cover both.

I just picked up a Ruger Toklat 454 Super Redhawk, very pleased with it. It came with a second set of sights too, the standard and then a brass bead front sight and v-notch rear, which I promptly installed.
