Picked up a Sig Sauer P938. What a great shooter for such a small package! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420896837.260360.jpg

Picked up a new old stock Ruger NMBH 4 5/8 in., .44 S&W Special. I wanted something for stouter .44 Special loads, maintaining my position of not shooting 44 Specials in my 44 Magnums. The magnum guns are bigger than needed for the 44 Special. Also my magnums have longer barrels than I would prefer for belt carry. This NMBH in the shorter barrel and milder caliber is just right for an all around gun.

My other NMBH is a .41 Magnum, also 4 5/8", so the guns can share holsters, currently a Bianchi Lawman. I believe I will order a CME cross draw as an option, maybe a quick switch side to side, if driving or wearing a heavier coat.

I have ordered Ruger's own rosewood checkered grips for it.

Nice mountain gun, I would love to find one of those.

I almost bought an old 1930 vintage colt 38spl in mint condition.

$399.00 out the door, but when I picked it up and cocked it, the cylinder was so loose I would have been afraid to shoot it. I pulled the trigger and only left the hammer go forward about a 1/4" and the cylinder moved about a 1/4".

The bluing job was what caught my eye but after closer inspection the writing on the barrel was half polished off. Some words were completely missing. Sharp edged were dulled down and the blueing was entirely to good.

I just told the guy "nice old Colt" laid it back down, and left.

I'm not sure which 45 Colt SA revolver I want to get first. It will be either a a short barrel Bird's Head in 45 Colt or an 1872 Army Open-Top 45 Colt with a 7.5" barrel.

I'm also going to buy a Ruger SR1911 soon but I can't buy more than one at a time! :banghead:

I got this one on January 2. Filled out the paperwork on December 31, but got called to go to work and didn't have time to wait for the BG check, so I just picked it up a couple of days later.

Harrington & Richardson 929. Nine shot, 22 LR, DA/SA, 2 1/2" barrel, swing out cylinder.

It was missing the front sight when I got it, and I couldn't find one online to fit the 2 1/2" barrel model, so I looked around for something that would fit the slot. A penny was pretty near perfect. Cut the penny in half, filed it down a bit more, expoxied it in, the "blued" it with a magic marker. I had to redo the left side.

I haven't shot it yet, but I got it mostly for grins and giggles, and because it was cheap.
