Rasheeds are hard to find, and VERY hard to find in any condition, unfortunately I passed on one that I could have had at a good price, you just keep looking, and eventually you will find it.

I am hunting for an SVT-40 at a good price- or an FN-49...

I buy MilSurps for guest to hunt hogs with here at the ranch. So these are not "collected" but rather these are working guns. Loaned out a couple times a month and worked over hard.
I disassemble them completely. Sand and seal the stocks with stain and polyurethane to protect (best we can) as city folks will drop your rifles in any mud puddle they can find :)
Barrel, throat, bolt et al are gone over to detail to bring these things back to a reliable, accurate gun.
Here are a few of our working rifles here.....all in the same shape as the ones in the pictures.
Yugo M24/47 8mm Mauser (probably have about half a dozen of these)

Chinese T53 Carbine (have three or four of these)

Few of the 91/30's and one of the Lee Enfield's

Civilian Marksmanship Program, face-to-face, local gun shops, internet gun auction sites selecting for my state, gun shows.

And always, Google, Google, Google! :)

Definitely meager compared to others, but:

Some of these collections make me cringe since I'm running the numbers in my head on how much I'm going to have to spend to catch up!

Consider selling blood, or some of those extra body parts, like a kidney or lung. What do you need two of everything for? :p

I got another one I just picked up today. From what I can tell it is a Dane rebuild with a 1960 VAR barrel that gauges at the muzzle in the negatives and the throat is just shy of a one. It also has lock bar sights. It also has an early gas trap trigger housing with the correct hammer.

How about a picture of it, when you have time.

A little later than I wanted to. M1 Garand 1944 Springfield with 1960 VAR barrel Danish rebuild and lock bar sights. I just picked it up today. Barrel is a 1 at the throat and a -1 at the muzzle. It has a mirror bright bore and the most perfect rifling I have ever seen on an M1 barrel. Tomorrow I will clean it up. It still has some cosmoline. :D
