I only printed two targets because I just wanted to shoot 2 guns standing without support. The target on the right was shot with my M2I Open gun in .38SC and the three shots were the first three shots of the day. I sat the gun down and shot the group on the left with my Dan Wesson V-Bob. I only fired a total of six shots. I was disappointed when I called the flier high and right on the first group, but if you shoot it you own it.

Both groups are right around a half of an inch. That's about what I would expect from those guns pretty much day in and day out.

I'm kinda shocked with this 3 shot group at 10 meters, I wasn't planning to post and went to the range for normal practice. After 100 rounds of shooting a Hi Power and to give it time to cool down under the Arizona sun, 91F/shade, I broke out a Colt Government in 38 Super to test a new load for function. Oddly enough, I'll need to shorten the COAL a bit for future range sessions.

Load was R-P +P brass, Precision Delta 124gr JHP, N340 and CCI small pistol primers. I didn't bring calipers with me to measure the spread nor did I use target paper as the OP stated, but I expect the group is in the 0.5" range.

Nice group. I have to ask. Did you intent to hit the number zero? :)
Most of the time I hit the zero or very close to it on the first shot, in this group, I hit one of the top shot's first. Second shot was either a little to the left/right of the first. Third shot was the bottom.

Set out to compare Colt Python vs. S&W Model 27-2 and concluded pretty quickly that the Smith was going to give me the best results. Better sight picture with the partridge style front sight vs. the ramp style on the Colt. Otherwise they are two very closely matched revolvers. Love them both! This was the excuse I needed to pack up my stuff and head to the woods for some trigger time.
