I plan on picking up an EOTech 512 in about 9 days and I'm getting anxious. Lets see some pictures of your EOTech. I expect to see alot of ARs but unique combos are encouraged as well as any first person point of view shots.

I put an Eotech 512 on my M-4gery about two weeks ago. I have shot with it twice since then, once indoors and once outdoors. I am very happy with it!

Here's my S&W with an Eotech on it.



I like it for this rifle. The carbine is all about quick shots, and the Eotech is really great for that. I can shoot it "Two Eyes Open" and it's as quick as a pistol at close range.

Here's a closer look at it.



While the Eotech isn't really any better than iron sights for target work (It doesn't magnify), that doesn't mean it isn't capable of good accuracy.

Here's a three shot group, fired with some Privy Partisan heavy target rounds at 180 yards. The Eotech was sighted for Federals when I shot this one. Centering that group would be a simple matter of dialing it in, but the federals are what I have and shoot so I didn't resight for the target rounds.
