Hello friends and neighbors,,
I like .357s and hope a few of you folks do too.

My oldest .357 is a 1961 Colt Python

Anyone have a .357 Colt OMM, Colt 357 or a S&W Registered Magnum?
Love to see some of my "dream" revolvers!

If your like me and can't afford the above, please show us your "Oldest" .357.

My oldest, and only .357. Model 28 Highway Patrolman. I think it's from '69 or '70, not as old as some, but it's older than me. One of these days I'm going to find some diamond grips with some wear on 'em.

The .38 is from 1920. It's actually the oldest gun I own.

BTW, nice guns guys. sgt127, I particularly like that 5 incher. Really dig a gun that's had a life.

No access to photos right now but my oldest .357 would be my Ruger Blackhawk built in the late '60s.

CraigC

Really sweet looking grips on your Blackhawk!

Now this is a great start!

Sweet looking RM( very early and unusual), Colt Peace Keeper(only made for a couple of years I believe), vintage Black Hawks one mint FT,, one used and loved and what looks like a Police stamp on the Highway Patrolman.

Can't wait to see what pops up next.

Not too old, my 586 from 1987 w/ George Lawrence holster that is much older than the gun, but not sure how much.

My oldest is a first year Colt 3-5-7, 1953 If I remember correctly:

The one I shoot the best is this Browning 92:

And my favorite is this early 70's S&W Model 27:

First year Colt 357, ty sir an outstanding example! My new screen saver.
Do you ever shoot that one?

The 27-2 is in great shape as well.
I put vintage S&W Combat Grips on my, 3 1/2", 27-2 and the groups improved immediately.

First year (1954) Highway Patrolman is my oldest magnum.

I do have this magnum predecessor, the 38/44 Heavy Duty from the 30s. Some of these have been altered to accept the magnums, this one has not.

Bamabiker, I have a twin to yours. They are wonderful firearms! A guy who can handle one of those well need not think he is ill prepared for whatever happens.

Not too old. Ruger Security Six circa 1978, with Fuzzy Farrant grips. The only .357 I own. ........................

If I could only afford a Reg. Magnum, I'd be happy. As it is, this no dash Model 27 is my oldest. It's a four screw from 1961.

Dframe is correct, 1954 is the 1st. year. I have a COLT.357 with a 4in. bbl. serial # 6XXX. I will try & post a pic. I can never get it to post ??

Not a real Flattop,it's a newer model that was modified for fast draw, back in the 70's by a state champ. It's my oldest and only .357 right now. Used hard and still running great.
