what is the limit for gun rights

How about, "Thou shall not murder". How's that for a reasonable limit on "gun rights"?

I guess as I get older, I’m more easily frustrated. I have nothing against the OP, and I certainly think people are entitled to ask questions, and express opinions. Still, I find myself getting tired of a modern generation of men who have been raised like cattle, and who no longer have the independence or presence of mind to think for themselves. They ask degrading questions...seem to think of the government as a God-like entity, set up with dominion over the people, all the while overlooking the ideals of rule by law, and a government by the people and for the people. The 20th century without a doubt ruined America.

Do I need a missile...No, but then WTH does that have to do with anything?

So if the government can have ballistic missiles means that I shoud l be allowed to have a ballistic missile?? OR a Stealth Fighter jet?? or a 105 mm Howitzer??? Or a nuclear submarine?? You get the point..

Do not get me wrong I do love guns (otherwise i would not be a member of THR) but, realistically, where do we draw the line??? What do you think is the limit in the ownership of a weapon system by a civilian???

Originally the founders had set up the constitution to protect the rights of the people against a tyrannical government. The power of the government was never supposed to be able to outweigh the power of the people.

I would love to own an RPG-7. There are a few legally in private American hands, too. There was a high level NRA member who recently died. Among his collection was a rpg-2, flamethrower, ww2 US bazooka, exc.
That's the kind of collection I want.
