Leupold m8 3x value

Last week I somehow lucked into a Leupold m8 3x fixed power scope. It didn’t come with the box, but did come in a plastic scope bag with the appropriate printed material. It’s in good condition but not mint. What are these scopes going for these days? I know there’s a bit of a niche with these scopes. Is it something I should mount up or stow away in hopes the value keeps going up?

A quick google search shows asking prices between $150-$250

It would make a good hog hunting scope or be the perfect accoutrement to a vintage blued steel big game rig

Thanks for the reply. I did do a search and saw quite a variance in price. Anywhere from $175-$400, depending on condition.
Personally I don’t have anything I’d want to mount this scope on at the moment. I suppose I’m now debating on whether to keep it or offer it up to someone who might actually use it. I do like these old Leupold scopes. So would I regret parting ways with it is the big question lol?
