chriso, which scope you actually have? Maybe you can offer it out for trade. Personally, I have 2 of the same scope (Mark 4 3.5-10x Mildot M3), one on my Mark 12 Mod 1 SPR and one on my Remington 700PSS.
1MOA adjustment CAN get you to your target, 1MOA = ~5" @ 500yds or ~6" @ 600yds or ~10" @ 1000yds or And you will be always within +/- .5MOA (round up or round down), so you will be within +/- 2.5" @ 500yds or +/- 3" @ 600yds or +/- 5" @ 1000yds. And for man-sized targets, that is good enough to make a HIT if you aim @ center mass. Also, I think the military regarded a "headshot" as roughly a 6" circle, so +/- 3" @ 600yards equate to possible headshot @ 600yds.
For multiple targets engagement, M3 is much quicker than M1. Try to have someone/a spotter, calling out 5 targets of various distances from 200yds to 800yds for you.... for M1, it would varies from 1/2 a turn to like 2 and 1/2 turns, with 1/4 clicks... while for M3, it is all with 1 turn, and there are no .25 or .5 or .75.... just whole numbers!
Lastly, the zero stop is wonderful.... after every shot or string of fire, just turn the knob clock-wise till it stop, then you are reset'ed and ready to go for your next string, or your next spot...... you can do that in pitch dark, and you would have no problem resetting your scope...
