I posted this over on the "Accessories" forum but only got one response, so I thought I'd try it here. A year or two ago, Leupold forced all retailers to use MAP pricing on it's scopes (i.e.- similar, I understand, to MSRP pricing). If you check out the 5 or 6 largest Internet scope dealers, you will see that their prices on Leupold scopes are all exactly the same. In answer to a previous question I asked, I was advised to "call for the REAL price". I did. And all of them gave me the same price that was on their site! So, is Leupold so darn popular that no one discounts them anymore? Or am I just asking incorrectly? Thanks!
