Anyone with experience with these scopes? What would they compare to in the Leupold Line (VX-II) maybe? I am looking at a 2-7x33mm for an AR.

Frankly, I know of no shop near me that carries them and I've not seen them myself. Most larger gun stores will stock VXII and VXIII lines and the big box stores will carry the Rifleman and VXI stuff, but the VX-R stuff is (much like the Leupold Ultralights) a bit of a niche product for most storefronts to stock in earnest....

I usually use the Sightron SII 1.5x-6x/42 or a Bushnell Elite 3200 1.5x-5x on my ARs with magnified optics, although I have recently used a couple of the Leupold VXII 1x-4x optics. I did mount the Burris 2x-7x FFII on a couple of 6.8SPC builds, but I do not like the fact that I cannot use flip-up lens covers with the FFII.

Thank for your reply Rbernie. I will have to look up the scopes that you have mentioned. I have two Sightron SII's and two Big Sky Sightrons and have been very happy with that line. This scope will be going on an AR Performance 6.8 barreled AR that I am going to put together. I have only seen it in catalogs and internet pics and didn't know about it until I read a post on the 6.8 SPC forum. Maybe after it's out awhile, there will be more discussion about the here.

I was just looking at the 1.25-4x20mm for the very same application. Doesnt seem to be much information out on these yet.
