Lever action rifle - which one to buy?

I only have one Winchester lever action, and it's a RARITY! One chambered for 7.62X54R.

I've wanted a .357 lever gun for a while. I was at the LGS today and looked at one of the Rossis. I wasn't impressed with the action and finish, so I left it there.

My Marlin 1894c from 1979 is my sweetheart. The only other long gun I enjoy running as much would be my 56 39A.

If you don't mind a little extra weight, Henry Big Boy in .357 is nice.

Weight has its +'s and -'s.

If you come across an older Browning 92 they are one of the better 92's out there......
I like the 1892 action for pistol cartridges.

I'm in the Marlin camp with a 1894C .357 Mag, 1894 .44 Mag, two 336's in .30-30 and one in .35 Remington, and two 1895's in .45-70.

Still waiting on the rifle from Steve. Probably will be a another month or so. Lets hope MN does not enact the draconian laws they are proposing right now as I might not even be able to get the gun once it is done. Have been looking at some of the 30-30 lever guns at the local used place and might have to pick one of them up also. Just might have a hard time finding ammo at a descent price or at all.

these are the choices I made:
22 lr : marlin 39a
30-30 : marlin 336
pistol caliber: I own 2 Miroku build Winchester 1892 in 44-40 and they are the finest in fit and finish and with a great action.
(one 24 inch, straight stock 'short rifle', the other 16,5 inch John Wayne Memorial)

+1 on a Winnie 94AE in 357. 16 inch barrel (Trapper version) is tops!

If you can find them.

If not, I'd vote for the Marlin.

Another vote for marlin. Find a 336 Texan... you will never regret it.
