This may have been asked, but has anyone tried the LeverEvolution ammo in 35 Remingtion. I've been thinking about trying some in my Marlin, but I still have a few boxes of unused softpoints. Do they make a big difference?

i want to know too ive been thinking of picking some up for my remington pump for deer season but dont know if its worth the cost since i still have a couple boxes of core lokts

I have some in .30-30, but have not much of a chance to hunt with it. I have run enough to know it is pretty accurate and seems to have a little more 'pop' than normal stuff.

batmann, that may come from it being about 100fps faster than corlokts. I hear it shoots a bit high. I haven't tried it as where I hunt there is only about 50y visibility.

I have a case in 30/30 but hadn't hunting with it yet. But I think it is as important an advance as pointy bullet (can't reminder the proper name right now) when the Germans invented them.

I love 'em. I only wish Hornady would offer up the bullets to be available to reloaders. I can't find it right now to snap a picture of it (of course) but I recovered the most beautifully mushroomed LeveRevolution 200 grainer from the deer I took last year (.35 Remington.) It stopped just inside the skin after blasting the offside shoulder to bits (quartering away shot at about 40 yards.)

The 200 gr. Hornady ammo shoots dead on at 100 yards with the Remington CorLokt 200 gr. roundnose in my 336.

Thanks, I've seen it advertised quite a bit. My back forty was cleaned off last year and was planted in corn this year. With deer season coming up, it will be combined off before regular gun season. I'll have a wide open fieldwhere there wasn't one before, and I've already seen a 10 pointer feeding amoung the stalks. It would probably be a 100 to a 150 yard shot now because of the change of terrain.
