    You might try reloading thread.

In general rifle crowd this might not get seen by anyone with such an interest. Try same question under Handloading and Reloading perhaps?

I reload 30-40 some but by the book and only the low start load recommendations.

I think also, when there is no published data for a particular powder/cartridge combination, (and there is none for the 30-40/Leverlution) most folks are more than reluctant to offer suggestions. Judging by the applications that ARE published, namely the 30-30, 35 Rem., .308, I think it would certainly have application in the 30-40. It is kind of starting, as is always recommended, on the very conservative side, and working up. A chrono is almost a must, as well as a good eye for pressure signs. Most of this comes with experience with reloading. You may have a lot, or not, but no one is going to feel comfortable giving data unless they are doing it under SAAMI guidelines, in which case the info would be published under license.
