I picked up a pound of Leverevolution and wanted to use it in my Rossi R92 357mag.
I am needing load data for this powder and caliber.
Needing advise on where to find this data?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Leverevolution is a fairly slow rifle powder and NOT suitable for loading the .357 Magnum cartridge even if you are firing those rounds in a rifle. Again, slow pistol powders are suitable for loading for the .357 Magnum like 2400, W296/H110, AA#9, IMR4227, H4227, Power Pro 300-MP and a few other powders in that burn rate range but definitely not Leverevolution.

I love 300-MP in .357 R92 but I was told that Leverevolution was faster than. I could have miss understood what the reloader(does the reloading for the range) at my local indoor range said though.
300-MP is great but it's hard to find decent load data for it.

I don't know who told you that but I use Leverevolution in my 30-30 ammo and played around with a few other rifle cartridges with it too. That powder isn't even a fast rifle powder let alone faster than a magnum pistol powder.
Don't take anyone's word on it, go directly to the distributor and look at the "Burn Rate Chart" for yourself. Even though 300-MP isn't yet on the chart we all know it's in the same range as W296, Lil'Gun and 4227 which are all in the high 50's and low 60's on the chart. They list Leverevolution as #104 similar to BL-(C)2, W748 and H380. There can be no comparison, LVR is a fairly slow RIFLE powder, not a fairly slow PISTOL powder. The differences are like night and day.

If you want to verify the relative burn speed of 300-MP take a look at the chart on the Ramshot Site. They list it right next to W296 & H110.

*EDIT*
I just checked the new Hornady 9th edition manual and on page 38 they supply us with a current burn rate chart.
They list Power Pro 300-MP @ #54
They list Hodgdon Leverevolution @ #103
Remember, even powders which are right next to each other on a burn rate chart doesn't necessarily make them close in burn rate. It just makes that powder the next fastest or next slowest in line. According to Hornady's chart LVR is slower than Benchmark, H322, 4895, 4064, RL-15, Varget, IMR4320, BL-(C)2 and then 6 more down comes LVR.

Thanks for the info on Leverevo...
I now understand that the powder is tooooo slow for the 357 rifle.
I do load a bolt action 308 with Varget powder.
Do you guys think I could use the Lererevo... in the 308s?

Hodgdon does not recommend using their LR powder in anything other than 30-30, .308 Marlin, and .35Rem. As they have load data for those cartridges right on the bottle.

If you haven't used the Leverevolution yet, you can probably trade it to someone for a pound of suitable powder. 4227 should be a good option for .357 in a lever gun. You might even get away with H4198 although I would beg a Quickload model from someone to check on combustion efficiency.

I load 45 Colt and 454 Casull for a 20" rifle with H110 to great effect and Trail Boss for fun. Bullseye and Unique also have great fans for use in pistol caliber rifles, though I am no such fan.

I am an absolute Varget fan for 6.5x55 through 8x57. Wish I could find some...

Actually, Hodgdon is adding data to their site for additional cartridges slowly. They now have data for the 25-35 Win, the 338 Marlin Express and the 338 Federal along with the 3 you mentioned. I hear there are more to follow.

LVR is outstanding in the 30-30 and it's all I use in that cartridge now. Velocity is increased so the round shoots flatter and further and more importantly, accuracy is excellent too.

Really? I'll have to keep that in mind if I pickup anything in those calibers. LR is a great powder and burns pretty clean in my Marlin. In my 336 it shoots half inch groups at 100. I keep the scope sighted in about 3/4 to 1" above bullseye for 100-150 yard shots.
