Thanks, NavyDoc. Give my brother Marines a 'Semper Fi!' from me.

Where the hell are they getting the materials for IEDs from? I mean, it's not like you can buy semtex at walmart. Is this leftover munitions or are they rolling their own?
Where you been for the last 3 years, the entire place is a friggin' ammo dump. They're using artillery shells and whatever else they can cobble together.

Im sure you have been told this before but thank you for all that you are doing overthere... Im sure its tuff but I believe i speak for just about everyone when i say we are greatful.

Thanks Doc. We are all still praying for you and your team here.

We also pray for the day that services like yours will no longer be necessary.

Thanks Doc,

Like Atticus said, thanks to you and yours, this wasn't his last birthday.

I don't know where you're from, or where you're going once you're stateside, but if you find yourself in the Chicago area, beer & wings are on me at Hooters.

Keep up the good work, and stay safe.

Start with a leftover bomb/rocket/mortar/artillery shell/mine. Do bad things to it and give it some sort of detonator. Hide under animal carcass/trash/car/children. Detonate from cowardly distance so you can't be sent off to meet Allah. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Navy Doc:
The only two things a Marine loves more than the Corps. His mother and a navy doc. Semper fi.

Thanks for taking time to fill us in, Doc. You and your compatriots are the best! I don't know what kind of news you get over there, but from my point of view there are a lot more people here supporting y'all than the news media wants to admit.

God bless all of you in harm's way! :)

You guys gave him the best birthday he could have had under the circumstances, a chance at another one.

If my kid was there I'd be comforted to know that you were there for him.

Well said about men and boys doc. Thanks for putting it into perspective too. You and the men of the armed forces deserve much more than our simple gratitude.

NavyDoc:

My son will be in your neighborhood in a few weeks - he's a 13F, Minnesota NG. I pray that you never learn who he is!

Thanks for your service and your words here. You're doing a fine thing.

JB

Doc,

Kepp up the good work. i've got too many friends in the sandbox with you to list. Knowing people like you are there for them helps. But, watch youself, too. Come home when your work is done.

Chris
