Well, maybe that might be too optimistic, but at least a glimmer of hope at a local retailer.

8Lb Varget on the shelf @$279, but if you really need the stuff.... 1 and 8lb IMR 4831 on the shelf. A few oddballs, Lever, Superformance, and the Gold Standard Unique on the shelf, all normal price.

Small pistol, Small rifle, .209 Shotgun on the shelf...limit 200.

9mm plinking ammo and .22LR on the shelf, normal price, limit 2 boxes.

Didn't need any, so I left it all there other than 2 boxes of .22 for the neighbor's kids for Xmas.

Maybe a fluke, maybe signs of better things to come.

Four posts in and I had to delete two as political, let's stay on topic.

I know we all hope this little dip in availability isn't long, but manufacturers are back ordered to Mars, so....... be patient folks, be patient, save your pennies for when it gets good again, however long that may be.
