Unless you are not counting the weight of the magazine which weighs 2oz. I checked mine out on 2 scales and also checked several web sites and confirmed this to be true. Many gun companies, especially handguns, give the weight without the magazine in the gun. I found that Glock, Kahr, Keltec, as well as others do this to make there guns appear lighter than the competition, hence one has to do their homework to get the exact weight of the gun.
Interesting because the glock site shows 21 oz.

Glock 19 Technical Data

Glock chooses not to include the empty magazine in the weight

of their guns. Like I said before, some companies do and some do not. I called the following and they DO include the weight of the mag in the advertised gun weight...Colt, Springfield Armory, Browning, and Beretta. I am sure there are others. If one wants the "EXACT" weight including the magazine , then it would be prudent to get it directly from that company. I found that most magazines in full size pistols weigh about 1.8-2.2 oz. My Glock 19 weighs 23oz and the Glock 17 24oz with mag in the gun.
