Lights for my press

Are two lights better than one? Gonna find out . Both work well , but side by side , the ufo is brighter than the inline . They do work well together and more light is a good thing .

+1 to the UFO lights by KMS^2. My small reloading room already had 8 overhead lights and they make it seem like I was reloading in the dark before.

I hung a Harbor Freight 4' led shop light over my bench. It needs no additional help.

I used two UFO light kits also, overhead and another vertically mounted....not sure you can have too much light.

I put in some LED overheads, and use some LED sewing lights for powder checks or anything else.

SHNIKIES that's bright!!! I'd need a Tylenol after an hour looking into those lights. Did you steal them off a runway?

Amazon has sewing machine led light strips for $6. It worked out nicely on my rockchucker. Very simple to install also!

Both kits came with a 110 plug and a switch . When I ordered the ufo I also ordered a y-cable . Both systems use the same type of connectors . With the y-cable I was able to use one plug and one switch to operate both lights . Love the light shining directly down into the cases .

Good lighting is like reloading supplies or loaded ammunition. It's hard to have too much. The LED Revolution is a great thing.

The KMS² with 24 LED's is overly bright IMO...wish I had bought the dimmer switch at the same time. A diffuser might work even better.

The UFO overhead on my blue 750 is really great. And didn't change the tool head swap procedure since it tapes to the press frame.

The KMS^2 UFO lighting system is about the best on the market. I have one on my Hornady LNL AP and on my loading buddy's Dillon 750 on my bench. The 750 also has a Skylight in the center, but I do think it is overlit.

The only downside to excessive light is the amount of heat it generates

Hornady sells a light strip similar to the teacher’s. I bought them from Midway on sale and put one on the inside vertical surface as well as the the underside of the top. Whatever version/brand/model floats your boat, having light on this subject is recommended. Good luck.

Hey... that has to be a steel press, are you suggesting everyone deep six their aluminum framed presses?

Good idea. I bought one of those for my GF's commercial sewing machine, she won't sew without it now!

I am not up to date on the latest Dillon equipment.
How much did this assistant cost and what was the delivery time? Was there a hazmat fee?
