Anybody know where to get a limbsaver recoil pad for an A2 AR15 stock? Got my 358 yeti going yesterday and that hard plastic butt plate has a bite!

I found this picture on a google image search but could not find where to buy one. Plan B is to get a slip on one for shooting from the bench.

Kick-EEZ grind to fit? I am sure they have one that is close enough in size.
Kickeez does make a direct fit

I put a Kick-eez A2-111 pad on my .50 Beowulf AR along with a lead weight that fills the stock storage space. The change made a night and day difference, even mag dumps are quite fun.

The weight requires a little modification, I just used a hammer to beat into a shape that would fit, then glued it in.

How was the fitment of the pad? I read the reviews on midway USA and everyone said it doesn’t fit.

It was ok, not like a custom shotgun, but noting too far out, there are a lot of makers of A2 stocks so they do very. On mine I had to retain the sling attachment I did not want. One of the two attachment screws goes into a threaded hole in the sling attachment.

Well I found a reference to the recoil pad shown in my original picture so I bought one on amazon, but it did not fit at all. It was about 3/16” too short and I would have needed to machine down the buffer tube spacer to fit, so I got a slip on instead. Not quite what I wanted but it will do the trick. I use this lower with 2 other uppers, so I will just put the slip on pad on when I’m going to be shooting the 358 from the bench. For hunting I’ll just shoot the regular butt plate since I’ll be wearing a coat anyway.
