Do the PAST recoil pads actually work well for people with arthiritis or fibromyalgia? A 30-30 Win on a bench actually bothers me with a slip on Limbsaver pad. 12 Ga pump with decent factory pad wears me out pretty quick when shooting trap. My bolt action Savage 7 mag with regular loads with slip on Limbsaver on bench is hard to shoot a few shots. Thanks. I could used to shoot these guns with no problem when I was a kid.

Not only do they work, they work well. I have owned on for about 20+ years and you can shoot anything all day long and not have any bad effects. Nice thing to is that if you are embarrassed by wearing one and having you shooting friends call you a wussie, you can wear it under your shirt. Worth the money and believe me, the PAST recoil shield does work.

Yes, I love the 7 mag I have. It is extremely accurate. At one time i thought about getting a 243 for deer hunting because of recoil. I would hate to sell my 7 mag because I can shoot within an inch with cheap Rem Core Lokt 150 grain ammo.

I sort of solved the shotgun recoil problem by getting an autoloading 20 gauge, but it would sure be nice to shoot my 12 GA pump more than a few shots and getting tired.

I was using one for a very light weight rifle in .308 that was just kicking the snot out of me. The pad made the kick feel more like a push, which was nice. The rifle still had a lot of muzzle flip though, so I ended up installing a muzzle brake. Made that rifle feel like a .223, awesome.

I own two, they come in different thickness and work very well and yes you can wear it under your jacket or shirt.

Absolutly! I would never go to the range without mine, 100+ rounds of high performance 270 WSM, 308 and 30-06 handloads and I go home without a bruise, I call that pretty darn effective. I have the mid range model and it soaks up at leased 40% of the recoil of my rifles. A+ product I would recommend to anyone using high powered rifles.

I recently bought one too use when I pattern some buckshot. I havn't used it yet. Buckshot is the only ammo that I have a hard time shooting paper with. When I shoot a deer I don't even feel the recoil.

I've used them for years if I'm going to be doing a lot of centerfire shooting.

They can be worn 'discretely' under a jacket if that concerns you.

The "magnum" rated one is a tad thicker and really soaks up the bite of those nasty rifles with steel buttplates. Its also larger in surface area.

For shotgunning it does alter your mounting/length of pull so be aware you might need to practice before you shoot a round for score.

they are great, I use mine for 223 up to my 8mm..I had surgery on my shoulder. and It takes away the pounding pain out of my shoulder.
