I was just wondering how you chose the quotes, or “catch phrases” in your signature?

Me? I just Love Cigars!!

I use whatever quotes/phrases strike my fancy, and keep them until I either grow really bored with them, or find something better. I think I've cycled through maybe half a dozen lines since I have been here.

That's pretty much my criteria, too... just whatever tickles me, or I think is profound.

THR Moderators slap me around until I find one that isn't offensive. ;)

On a serious note, I do like to reduce the text size (by using the tag) to make for less clutter on the board. Makes things easier to read, I highly suggest this to everyone as a courtesy to others. :)

My method:

First I hire a talented staff. Then I form them up into various committees. Once each committee creates its portion of my statement I assemble yet another committee to compile each individual part into a single complete statement. Once this is done this draft of the statement is sent to an editor for review and revision. Following the review process the statement is returned to the previous committee for a redraft. Once the rewrite is complete it is sent back to the editor. When the editor feels it is worth being viewed by THR members it is sent to me. If I agree that it meets the extremely high standards of THR then I have my secretary enter it into my signature line. :D

One is from V For Vendetta and should always be kept in mind, as for the other...

It just popped in my head. I laughed. I put it in my signature.

There are indeed some good sig lines on this forum. I think some get carried away though... .choose ONE! It's sorta crazy (and bordering on annoying) to see posts where the sig is twice as long as the post.

I guess you can just call me "old school".

Mine come from classic westerns, and I carry revolvers, not brass shuckers.
