List of department issued sidearms?

I'm looking for a list - or even better, a spreadsheet - of what sidearms are issued by major law enforcement agencies. Brand/model - as well as caliber would be helpful.

Is there such a thing available online? It's a good thing that google is free, because I've been at it for hours looking for such a list!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

FWIW, I've never seen such a list, heard of one nor seen a link to one. Of course, that doesn't mean there isn't one.

I remember seeing a list floating around about a year ago, it was on one of the law enforcement boards, but I cant remember which. Basically it was just a list that was ongoing and updated by users, but it was pretty extensive.

PDs change duty weapons and calibers as fast as they change out police chiefs which is probably why you can't find anything on paper. The upper brass always tries to fix something that ain't broken and just because they decide on a certain weapon or caliber doesn't mean that you should follow their lead. Most of the time they base their decision on a limited budget and they pick which ever pistol they can get the best deal on while still staying within a set of parameters. Usually, they pick Glocks(not to bash Glocks) or some other polymer equivalent. For instance the recent aquisitions of Glock 37s by departments all over the country might be a result of Glock's 75% reduction in cost to LE agencies for this pistol(no joke, 75%). Also, Colorado Highway Patrol only use S&W autos for some reason and they will not use anything else as long as the same brass are in charge. More politics than logic in LE sidearm and caliber adoption.
