    I started out shooting 3rd gen S&W and beretta 92s'. Also have a love affair with Walther PPks and Makarovs. Does anyone other than Beretta, Bersa, Mamgnum Research, and Walther still make them? Does anyone have a good list of guns with slide mounted safeties/decockers? I guess we could make one here is not. Off the top of my head.

    Ruger P series (now longer made :( )
    2nd & 3rd gen S&W
    S&W 52
    Beretta 92/96
    Beretta PX4 Storm

    Walther PPk/THP
    Walther PK380
    Walther P38/P1

    Off the top of my head, the Beretta/Stoeger Cougar.

    Excellent handgun overall, but I'll never like slide mounted decockers so I gave mine to a buddy for his 21st Bday.

    The Desert Eagles are also slide mounted, not all beretta 92fs models are though.
    The S&W 52 is slide mounted as well.

    They're not all that common, but if you like the PPK, Iver Johnson used to make the TP 22. It's VERY close.

    Your list is missing an important specimen - Walther P38/P1.

    Not all Beretta 92 models are slide mounted, but all 92FS are. The "S" in 92FS specifically denotes slide mounted safety.

    Hi TennJed, thanks! Yes, the Walther P99 AS has a decocker-only button on the top-left of the slide for a first double-action shot.
    I have some new guns to add to the list:
    HK 4;
    Steckhin APS;
    Arsenal P-M02 Compact;
    Bren Ten.

    The Beretta 9000s has a frame mounted safety but I don't think a slide mounted safety. The Beretta 90 Two has a slide mounted safety-decocker.

    Phoenix Arms HP22A has it covered. Safety on the slide and on the frame :)
