Slide Mounted Safety

Am I the only shooter who can't stand a slide mounted saftey? I want to like guns like Rugers, S&W, and Berettas, but can't get past the safety reach.

your not the only one.

I can reach them just fine, I just don't like em. I'm sticking with guns that have 1911-esque safeties.

i had a taurus p-92 9mm and didnt like it either. bought a colt 45 1911 and love that safety. guess youll have to trade it in or buy a longer thumb.

I feel the same way, so I only carry the Berettas and Smiths without the safeties.
