It's a little bit more complicated than that. Each state must develop reciprocity one state at a time with the others. (Last time I checked) a Utah permit for a Utah RESIDENT is honored in 37 states, while there are three states that will honor a resident permit, but not a NON-resident permit. (Florida has near identical reciprocity.) Nevada was closed to ONLY Nevada permits until last year, when reciprocity was reached with Utah, but ONLY Utah. Every state has a different standard, and every state has different laws regarding where you can and cannot carry. For example, in Utah, you can carry on college campuses, and K-12 schools. You can carry into bars, restaurants, etc. Many other states say you can't carry into liquor stores, bars or any restaurant that serves alcohol. Every time you move into a new state, you have to know the law.
This was the first link I found when I ran a search, it is a couple of years old. And always, don't trust the internet for info. When in doubt, call the AG's office for the state you are visiting.
