Saw this in the Bean hunting catalog. Made by Rizzini, imported by SigArms...anybody have any experience with this shotgun?

There's a mess of Rizzinis in Italy, and most have their own gun companies. The folks at Bean sell little junk of any kind, so draw your own conclusions.

WEG, about the same quality as the Citori.

NO first hand experience.
I have spoken with fella that has a LLBean a few yrs old now.
He likes it very much.

His only daughter , graduated from College - finally. She saved up and surprised her daddy, with the 28ga. No special gift date or nothing. Just showed up - handed it to him. He offered to let her shoot his new gun - She did - and he shot hers ....she had bought two of these - consecutive serial #'s. Now that's what I call a Daddy's girl :D

I've never had a problem with LLBean, quality - nor Orvis for that matter.

Thanks for the feedback. Just based on appearance, it looks like a winner...love the rounded pistol grip!

Yes those semi -pistol grips not only look nice - they feel good in the hands and handling.
If you ever get a chance to shot a semi PG ....you will like it. :)

This fella 'was ' thinking about a Athena....
The daughter had been to a LLBean shooting school and whatever else she did.
She had the gun fit specs from daddys' old Citori 12 bore.( so that is what she was doing in the gun safe "that time").

Put it this way - someone gives me one...or a REAL NICE gift certificate....:)

I hope I can raise my daughter along the same lines. ;)
