LMT Defender 2000 - yes/no?

Sweet rifle, meef! I'm having a heck of a time trying to find an LMT dealer in Oregon (the numbers I've called from LMT's website dealer finder have been dead ends). I'm looking for an LMT Defender complete lower.

If I might ask, which Oregon dealer did you work with?

Thanks.

Well, with the three month wait you just learned the cardinal rule of gun purchases....

ALWAYS BUY FROM A DEALER THAT HAS YOUR ITEM IN STOCK!

This goes triple for suppressors, by the way.

It's always better to buy from a dealer, even an out of state dealer, that has what you want in stock and have it transferred to your local dealer.

Glad you like the rifle though. LMT is the closest thing to a Colt you can buy, and the places where it falls short are insignificant (straight pins instead of taper, no park under the FSB).

Got it from SM Guns in Eugene. They ordered two and might still have the other one. As to whether they have any lowers, I'm pretty much certain that they do not.

I believe the Baron's Den in Eugene is an LMT dealer, don't know for sure on that one. Worth a phone call maybe.

:)

Heh... believe me, I would have liked to have done just that.

Finding a dealer in my neighborhood who fit that description was rarer than a conservative political thought in NObama's head (did I just venture into forbidden political territory? :uhoh: ).
