I just bought the upper to complete the build I began about two weeks ago, It is an LMT defender 2000 lower with ergo grip and standard telescoping stock, w LE markings, standard trigger, the upper is a lmt 16in standard upper with plain jane m4 hand guards and fa auto BCG. With LMT and buying an upper and lower seperatly or in general how much play should be between upper and lower, and is seeing daylight between upper and lower a problem. It is very little play maybe a few centimeters, maybe Im nitpicking, well tell me what you think, and is a case of m193 for 200 dollars a good price to feed this thing(500 rounds)?BUIS are on the way a yankee hill flip up from bravo company are they any good? well thats enough from me tell me what you think?

a few centimeters?? are you sure you're using the right units?

seeing daylight is not an issue. a little play is not an issue. a few centimeters is an issue.

if someone is offering you a case of m193 for $200, buy all you can. take out a loan and buy more. 500 rnds is not a case. @ $200/500 rnds, i'd want to make absolutely sure it is actual lake city m193. then it's an OK deal.

by way of comparison, prvi m193 can be had for $320/1000 rnds

+1 on a little play not mattering. If it bothers you, you can always get an accu-wedge.

A couple centimeters play would be a big deal, however. (And shouldn't have been passed on out of the factory by LMT.)
