Load all six at once.

Pretty cool, but most of the time I just build my own accessories/tools when it's something this simple. I actually drew up something similar last year (but quicker, and includes powder/wad). It's cheap enough, but I still think my design is a little better, even though I'll have who knows how much time and $ invested :)

BTW, does anyone know where I can get the bp "quick loader" I saw on YouTube? I don't know the name of the thing (only saw the very short vid once, and can't find it again), but it goes like this; a vertical wooden dowel type handle with the loading cone in front affixed to a slider/under a bp "hopper". He would put the cone into a chamber and push/pull....done! The hopper (too small to call flask) had a grain adjustment that, according to him, dispensed the exact amount required.

He loaded all six chambers in less than 10 seconds, and I've looked everywhere for one with no luck.

Sorry if this is considered a thread hijack, thanks for any help.

Is this thing made of steel ?
Where is it made ?
Will it reload a Walker ?

I like the powder inc. press. It is strong, fully adjustable for different cylinders, I can use as much or as little force as I want when pressing and it may be just as fast or faster than turning a screw.

One advantage I see is with the single lever press I can let the cylinder rest on it and pour the powder into each chamber followed by wads and balls (or connicals) unobstructed with full vision of the contents in each chamber and plenty of room to play.

The clearances on this new product look kind of tight between the cylinder and those six rammers that hang over it. I wonder if it's easier to just powder wad and rest the balls on outside of the press then put it in to this six rammer press and start screwing the balls in rather than pouring powder in from the sides followed by wads ammo etc. The small base may make it prone to tilting too?

I know you would definately have more feel (tactile feedback,) in each individual chamber at that, with a lever when pressing than turning a screw on all six at the same time.

Does it take a lot of turns to set it up and then screw those balls down on all the way ?

From what I see and read, I prefer the press, but if this thing is small enough, for the price it may be worth keeping as a backup or a loaner.

the load six , gadget is small. 3 inch x 5 inch x 1.5 ; with srew ram adding about 1.5",when closed. made of alum.? it is surpringly strong. the cylender ram head ; is some hy power plastic? perhaps delrin. it screws up; down; easy and fast, i haven't been able to do conicals , so far; they need to be slight ly rebated at the base, Uberti 1858 rem.(not enough room other wise.) although I have no problems ' the old way. It may not accommodate a walker ; a ROA is not doable. not sure where it is made. It will seat balls deep , if you want. i see no need for wads ; so i hold the cylinder in hand, load six evenly with powder flask, set the balls in chamber mouths. then hold the loader in left hand, set the cylinder on its perch, screw ram down using ;a motion like tapping theads; rotating the cylinder as i let off the screw. that part , probably not nessasary. but feels good to me. slap on home made lube . place in frame ; apply caps -- pretty quick. only i don't like shootin balls!
