Loaded chamber indicators on certain guns like XD's

The ones that obtrusively stick way up like a dang shark fin kind of annoy me (Ruger's?), but the one on the Walther P99 lightly sticks out to the side, and displays a bit of red coloring, which I actually like, I think it's a nice feature.

The aesthetics on some are what bothers me. The ones integrated with the extractor blend in. The dorsal fin types on the slide are meh. I wouldn't go to any extent to remove it.

I think they would be useful in a night-time situation, can easily tell if its chambered, running your finger along the slide.

The LCI's don't bother me anyway.
