Here's proof that good shot placement placement makes the 22 caliber "enough gun".

...the man's girlfriend, who also lived at the home, said the man had made comments about the gun in the past, as well as putting it to his head and pulling the trigger. Monday about 4:45 a.m., she was watching a movie when he began to repeat the behavior, and she heard him make a comment about the gun having two safeties before putting the barrel in his mouth and pulling the trigger, causing the gun to fire.

The 19 year old marksman had also reportedly been drinking alcohol. The GF said he did ths to scare her. I bet he succeeded real good!

He was mistaken about the safeties though. Every gun (even Glock) has more than two safety features, you just have to remember to use them.

Unfortunate, but at least it was he that was harmed and not the girlfriend or other person. What are the odds the girlfriend will have a bias against guns?

Reminds me about the story about a guy sitting on a couch, with an AK...he puts it to his head and pulls the trigger...bullet flies thru him and kills 2 people next to him on the couch too...at lease he didnt hurt anyone else

Pretty good in that town. They pride themselves on their poilitcal correctness. I kid you not.

I'd be willing to bet she already felt that way. The locality and lack of available training may also share the blame for the way the guy handled firearms.
