The range is just preventing suicides on their property with their guns. It's a great way to avoid lawsuits. I side with the ranges, seeing as how I'm picky about who I shoot with too.
But the fact is that a suicidal person will get'r'dun some other way. Maybe a buddy system for rope, razor blades, drain-o, pills, renting the first season of friends....
Maybe the politicians should have a program for free counciling if you try to rent a gun by yourself.
