Long eye relief low power scope (around 5" eye relief)?

Any ideas for a decent 1-4X or 2-7X or even a fixed 4X scope suitable for a Browning SA 22lr? I have a Leupold cantilevered scope base on it but every scope I try, the front "bell" is up against the front ring and I still need 1/2" to 1" more eye relief or have to force the rifle really hard into my shoulder. I'd like to find a scope with eye relief of 4.5 to 5 inches preferably. Thought of trying a scout scope with 9 inches or so of eye relief and pushing it forward into the rear ring, but I'm afraid the eye relief may then be too long (and I don't have a scout scope to try).

Hmmm. There used to be some shotgun scopes with 5" eye relief.

If I remember correctly, @JCooperfan1911 has a Browning SA with a little 4x Grubee scope with a 4" eye relief that is seemingly well suited to little rimfires. https://www.grubee.net/collections/riflescope

The Burris Timberline's had stupid long eye relief, so did the Bushnell Legend uhds
.....newer scopes i dont have any in that range.

It is nothing fancy, but the Barska 2.5x20 has 5.9" of eye relief. I have used it on a handy rifle, set far enough forward to leave the hammer clear but not "scout rifle" far forward.

I'm not sure what quality of scope you are looking for, but I was pretty happy with the quality at that price point.

my 2-7x27 burris timberline has about a 3.5" eye relief. the leupold fx2 2.5x20 has about 5". I like it very much on my marlin's. it mounts far enough forward to no need a hammer spur. And it's about as small as you are going to find in a scope. I'd PM jumbojvt and see if ya'll can work something out.

You might want to look for an old regular (long tube) M8 4X Leupold.

The Leupold rimfire 4x is of short tube and IMHO looks too short on most rifles.
And gloss models (discontinued) are crazy priced.

Had a new matte one on a mannlicher 10/22.
Better would be the first version Leupold compact. While the pic rail allowed the little Leupold to work fine, I thought it looked like crap.
The short little scope might be scaled better for a little Browning take down though. To each his own.

IMHO for max mounting ability, the old M8 4x is better. Yup, its small objective and gangly (28mm obj?)
Ran one on a Ruger #1 RSI. Even had to do an ext ring at rear when my neck wouldn't stretch like it used to (all Ruger #1s since get that same set up, reg ring at front, ext at rear ).

Had a 4x Compact (first version which is longer tube than 2nd version) on my .35 rem 760....after one season ended up going to my reg 2-7X as the tube was longer.

Wear a coat for cold weather and was just too much stretch for the compact. Age changes things.

Not a problem. That scope is one of those many things that I don't really need, but that I'm not in any hurry to get rid of. My wife thinks it's a character flaw that she failed to identify before she signed up. But what does she know.
