Nice!

Good to see they gave you a sight tool too. They didn't used to do that in the past, and they can be tough to find and salty for basically a one-time thing.

Semi-auto? What do you do with it?
Yes, semi. I will punch paper & enjoy it. Bucket list firearm for me. I think we all know how iconic the MP5 is. This is what we get in the US so I will take it over nothing. It will be a secondary SHTF firearm I suppose as well. Not going to replace my AR or sidearm, but can be supplemental if need be

I have a LOT of time on all of the MP5 variants and I have to say except for mag dumps an SP5 is just as much fun. I don't find the K as appealing but if you do go that way go PDW.

PS The MP5 .22 (HK/Umarex) is a lot of fun too and is a real bargain at less than $400. tempImagejQdpHY.png

I had a chance to buy a full auto MP5 about 20 years ago, shop wanted $14,000… I could have probably got it for 13. One of those hind sight 20/20 things

I would have expected a transferable (as opposed to a dealer sample) MP5 to go for far more, even 20 years ago. Would have been quite a buy!

I agree. I also own an MP5 22 :)

it was a country range/gun shop in North Carolina. The full auto MP5 was a range rental. They had 5-10 machine guns for rent, and all were for sale if you liked them. 20 years ago, $14,000 was 1/4 of my salary. But like we all say, hind sight is 20/20

The SP5 has made my other PPCs dust collectors and the MP5 22 is doing the same for my M&P 15-22.
I sold my HTA 10/22 after I got the MP5 22.

Now I'm selling my Scorpion because of the SP5 & I'm getting an AP5-M
