Greeting's All-

I am looking to purchase an all leather IWB holster for my Kimber
Ultra Carry II in the near future. My primary consideration is comfort,
as well as safety. Therefore, any recommendations to meet my criteria
must have an adequate safety strap between the hammer and the
firing pin. Holster's that I've used before (and been completely satisfied
with are from the following makers: Bianchi, Safariland, Don Hume, and
Galco. But, I'm open to other suggestions as well? Many thanks for any
and all reply's~!:D

+1 on KC (it's Kenneth). He's in Alabama somewhere, but he didn't reply to my last letter. He will make whatever you want - I had him make my second IWB for a 6.5" N-frame.

Well.........poke around the net and see what you like.............EVERYONE makes what you are looking for.....well, the better custom makers do anyway.
For about the same price as a Galco rig...you can get something made just for you and your needs............
Shoot well.

PCRCCW is modest and doesn't ask you to visit his site, but you should. Then call and talk to him. Then order and wait. You will not be disapointed.

I have used a Milt Sparks Summer Special II for my 1911's over the past few years and have been very pleased. I don't know if they offer a model with a strap as you require, but I would imagine they could custom make one for you.

Any reason for the retention strap?

BTW- GO COMMODORES!!!!!!!!!

I use a High Noon IWB for my Springfield Compact .45. It's of all leather construction and solid stitching. You might also check out Wild Bill's Custom Leather. The only draw back I can see is availability. I had to purchase all of my High noon and Wild Bill products on line. I believe you can find their products at a gun show but I have yet to see the products in stores.

About the most comfortable holster I've ever had (and certainly the prettiest) is this COM3 by HBE LeatherWorks.

I can't say enough good about it. The only bad thing is that it is so pretty, I'm afraid of scuffing it up. :p I think I'm going to make it a "dress" holster, and have Eric make me another COM3 that I won't be so attached to.
