This may be a long shot but I'm hoping someone here can help. I purchased a Beretta 1915 model 1917 in 7.65 as a "parts gun" for $50. It was caked in crusty cosmoline, the slide was jammed and had a few other minor issues. After a full take down, ultrasound cleaning and oiling it looks great, except it is missing the safety catch. No luck with Numrich and other vintage parts stores. Would be grateful if anyone on The Highroad can point me in the right direction. Attached is a picture of the safety catch needed.
