So i wanna get a double barrel 12 gauge. I would like one with 20 inch barrels i am planing to chop barrels if necessary. I only want a 2 trigger model

I have looked at steoger, remington, and balkia

Let me now what you think

Well.....I voted before I read your post. I would not have voted if I'd read the above first. My mistake.
You are planning to buy a useful firearm (regardless of which brand you choose) and turn it into something that is fairly useless.
It's your money.

I'd rather you do that to any of the guns listed rather than an old one. The Stoegers are pretty popular with the Cowboy set because they are cheap and they work. Don't get a single trigger model, I've heard of issues with those. The Russian guns work too from what I have seen, just not pretty or good handling. Go with whatever you can get the cheapest for that.

Get the Stoeger coach gun 'as is' and run with it. If nothing else they are both fun and practical for what they are. A 'purpose built' coach gun is a better bet than a sawed off long-barrel double IMHO. I agree with wanting double triggers, I dislike single triggers on a double barrel.

I've got a Stoeger coachgun, its a fun, useful little guy. Their customer service has been great IMO so far.

What will you use this double for? If you don't mind me asking.

I have no real use for a double. But i have a single shot an over under a pump and a semi all i need is a double now

The Remington Spartan and the Baikal are the same gun. Either one would be a good choice. They seem to be the most reliable of the cheap doubles, even if they are a little rough around the edges, they are built like tanks. New they run under $300, the model with hammers costs about $50 more.

I'd get a Purdey, cutting the barrels down would definitely raise an eyebrow or two

LOL! Brits would have a heart attack upon seeing something like that.

I want one of these:

It's a Maverick 12ga O/U ~$350 new.
