I got my rifle today. I did go to one shop looking for loaded ammo or components to load my own. I struck out completely. I thought the guy was going to bail out completely on me at the last minute. So due to that I shut my shopping down then he came over at the last minute.

I wanted to go sight it in tomorrow but I have zero ammo for this rifle at the current time. The only places locally that would have ammo or components are closed until Tuesday. My neighbors ex husband is on his way over from 2 hours away. He told me he would have brought me some if he had known before he left home to head over this way. He said he would stop by a relatives house on his way here and see if he could come up with something. If he doesn't come through I guess it's next week at the earliest for me.

I’ve had good luck using Staball 6.5, IMR 4166, and Ramshot Big Game for powders. Having a lack of availability has cut down on trying more powders

What load are you running with 4166 good sir?

I have had pretty good performance from I4350 @41.8 Grains and 2.840 COAL, H4350 @42.2 Grains and 2.840 COAL and Superformance. 139 Scenars and 147 ELDM. All of the best groups are between ragged hole and half minute.

I've been having good success with 130 gr Bergers with 37.3gr Alliant TS15.5

For hunting loads I like 130gr Accubonds over H4350 or R-17. Last year I shot 130gr Sierra TGK's with the H4350. Very accurate but they open up a little to fast to suit me. My long range gun likes the 129gr Accubond LR over H4350. Shot it out to 500 yards and have taken deer out to 357 yards. I have tried bullets from 120gr-143gr and 5 or 6 powders. H4350, IMR-4350, 760, and R-17 have shown the most promise, in that order. Still working with Superformance. I must confess, though, 3 of my 4 Creedmoors have liked different loads. The only one that wasn't picky was a Ruger American Predator. It shot everything well.

That’s good to know about the Ruger, just bought my kid one!

I just loaded some 140 gr Barnes Match Burners over 6.5 Staball with good results. Nosler brass, CCI 200 primers, 42.7 gr 6.5 Staball, seated .020 off the lands gave 3 shot groups within .3 MOA. Velocity out of a 24" barrel averaging about 2570 fps with single digit spread. Nosler 140 Ballistic Tip factory ammo clocked at about 2596 fps with sub MOA accuracy, so I'm thinking it's good enough.

Well I must agree with the 4350 people.....Varget really disappointed in the Creed..... At least in my guns....
