Thanks, the MSRP is $513, but dealers get it for $358 and the street price looks to be around $440. I don't hunt hogs but I might pick the .223 model, looks like a good truck gun. The barrel is medium profile and short so it should be quite rigid and balanced.^^we have a winner

that was another choice of mine. i saw it online but havent heard much of it.I think a 336 Marlin in .35 Remington is a good choice. I bought my 1973 mfg one in a pawn shop with an old Redfield 3-9x30 on it for $239 about three years ago. I took the Redfield off and replaced it with a Weaver Classic 1-3x20.
