I love to shoot, but dont get to do it much. However Im starting to shoot more and have come to the realization that I need a range bag. Im not looking for anything huge, just a handgun or two and the assorted extras I need to go with them. Since I never really thought about it before Im not sure where to start looking. Basically just looking for something durable that isnt going too expensive. Thanks.

You can't go wrong with these bags! $29.99 even for the large size. I love mine, the pistol inserts are great too.

Do a search on Kickin' A Packs 'N Stuff. I think you'll find a lot of happy customers. You definately can't complain about the price, and the bags are durable and well thought out.

Range bag

Ya cant go wrong with a multi pocket small sport bag from K-Mart, thats what I've been using for years, fits all my stuff. $9.95

I am using a range bag with a Guardforce trademark. Its a durable
polyester type bag with a divider, a double zippered front pocket and
pockets on either end with security straps. A carry handle sits atop
the bag that measures approximately 11.5 x 8.5 x 10.5. Its great for
extra ammo, magazines, and other gear. I think I gave a'bout $30
for it brand new~? :D

Bagmaster

I really like the Mini Range Bag Deluxe from Bagmaster. I have had one for about 4 years now and it has held up well. Holds 2 pistols, 8 magazines and 4 boxes of ammo along with my muffs and other misc. stuff. Still looks new.

I liked the Range Bag so much that I bought one of their Small Bullet Bags. Holds several hundred loose rounds of 9mm or .45 and it's quick and easy to load mags from it at the range. I don't waste time with boxes and holders.

Made in the USA and they have a great return policy and warranty.

My 2 cents.

Range bag

I was at Sportsman's Warehouse and purchased an Uncle Mikes. It was of better quality than the namebrand stuff by means of much bigger zippers and much heavier duty material. And it was less than $50.

I can pack 3 pistols in it and over 1000 rounds if desired. I can barely lift it with one hand loaded like that, but it's built to last.

The best range bag I ever had was a plain old military tool bag knockoff, large size, that I bought from a surplus store.

Even had pockets on the inside for about twelve mags, roomy enough to carry four guns in rugs and two or three boxes of ammo.

pockets on the outside hel any tools or solvents and oils I may need

S&W has a special right now - if U buy a S&W or Walther, U can get a free range bag. I bought one last year and sent off for it. It is an awesome bag. They have extended their offer again for Mar and April.

Anyway, the bag is sweet. It is huge, and it also has a zipper pocket on each end - each pocket is large enough to hold an entire gun box. It's about identicle to the one they sell on their website for $50. So, if U can't get a free one, go ahead and buy one there. It is a nice bag.

Here is the link to the free offer...

This is the bag I use. Bought it at my local Surplus store. Heavy duty canvas. When I go to the pistol range, it fits my 686P 6" plus ammo, plus ears and eyes. When I go to the trap field, it easily hols 6 boxes of ammo, couple of chokes, choke wrench, ears and eyes. Looks cool too ;)
