Looking for a range in north east CT

Hello all, I'm glad to be here.

I'm looking for a shooting range in North East CT. I currently travel over an hour to shoot and therefore don't go as often as I would like. The ideal range for me would have an indoor pistol range and an outdoor pistol and rifle ranges. I'm mostly interested in self-defense shooting and therefore must have a range where drawing from the holster is permitted and rapid fire is not prohibited.

Hiya! It's been a long time since I lived there (Woodstock & Thompson) but I remember there being rod & gun clubs all over the place. I'd think that if you asked around locally, they'd point you to a dozen out of the way places that don't advertise.

Jasen, There is Valley springs sportsman's club in Thompson I believe but I don't think they have an indoor range or rifle range. There is also Wallum rod & gun in harrisville Rhode Island and they do have an indoor range, also pistol, rifle, trap & skeet ranges but I don't believe you can do any rapid fire on the ranges and depending on where you are located it may take you 45 mins. to 1 hour to get there. Do a search on rod & guns or sportsman's clubs in the Ct, Ma, and Ri. areas and maybe you will be able to find one that meets your requirements. Good luck.
