Looking for a SW40VE slide release

Anyone know where I can buy a slide release for a S&W SW40VE? Brownell's and Midway don't carry it, and from looking at Smith & Wesson's site it looks like they don't sell parts to the general public. The spring on mine has weakened to the point where it will occasionally lock back before the mag is empty. Not the guns fault, it's mine for taking it apart too many times and fooling with it
