I do not want to get one from CMP and then send it over to rebarrel to some garand smith. Instead I want to buy the rifle directly from the rebuilder. I am thinking of getting one from Fulton Armory ($1099,) Orion 7 ($1300,) or Garand Guy ($845.)
Or should I go for the Sprinfield Armory new* Garands ($1099.)
Who offer the best parts, service, and warranty? Overall it seems that Giacobbe has the best offer.

*Don't bring the history issue, I realy don't care if the rifle was used to kill some enemies during World War II or the Forgotten War, sorry if I offend anyone. What about ME the actual owner of the rifle writing history into it: blood stainds from Garand Thumb, dings and scratches from dropping the gun after the Garand Thumb, etc. What bugs me about the new Garands are the cast recievers. For those who own them, how are they performing?
